SECC Awards Direct Energy and Gridmates at Distributech 2018
It is my great pleasure to share that the partnership with Direct Energy and Gridmates won the SECC Underserved Markets Award at DistribuTECH 2018 conference earlier this week. We are proud and honored for this validation of our continued success in demonstrating the value Gridmates offers to the utility markets. In the new era of the "human centric power grid" our mission is to provide the cloud innovation for a) Community Engagement and b) Digital Bill Assistance & Social Responsibility programs.
Our program partnership with Direct Energy launched right before Hurricane Harvey. While certainly not targeted to launch during such a devastating tragedy, it was just the right thing at the right time. I will tell you that the Gridmates platform spurred a record of community donations, achieving $50K in the first five days and DE has extended the program to its Neighbor-to-Neighbor program which has now achieved a record of 15,000 givers = the platform for donations and customer engagements continue to grow.
