We want to change the way you experience energy. We want to connect people with energy.

We are a startup company based in Austin, Texas and we have a bright vision! Imagine a world where people everywhere give a small amount of energy to others in need. In aggregate, this crowdsourced energy could light up, warm, or cool entire buildings or communities of people. Gridmates was founded to expand on and execute this vision and create the world's first cloud platform that enables the giving of energy and crowdfunding of energy. Anyone can participate by offering energy to those in need, to exchange energy with peers, and to collectively pursue the common goal of clean accessible energy for all. Consumers, producers, and prosumers of energy can interact at will taking advantage of modern energy networks and the internet. We are all gridmates. We are all on the same grid.

This is the power of Gridmates.
We connect with energy!

Dr. George Koutitas
CEO & Cofounder of Gridmates

We are all gridmates.

We are all on the same grid.

Two years ago I was watching the news with my family, and I saw people living in dark and cold homes. I decided to do something about energy poverty, a huge problem hidden within homes of our communities. That's why I came up with the idea of gridmates, to make giving energy donations easy with an innovative internet platform. Join us to help improve people's lives!
