The importance of engaged citizens and customers

Gridmates is part of the research project called Internet Science. Internet Science is a European Network of Excellence project that provides multidisciplinary innovation in the science of internet http://www.internet-science.eu/summer-school-2014/programme.

In July 2014, Gridmates founder, Dr. George Koutitas, discussed the emerging technologies of the energy sector called Transactive Energy, during the Summer School in the beautiful city of Volos, Greece. The topic of the summer school was “From Smart Cities to Engaged Citizens”.
